SURVEY SAYS...


A fitness survey found that people say they are most likely to do this on Sunday nights between 7:00pm and 10:00pm.


Answer: Binge eat, or cheat on their diets.


Personally, those hours are the most difficult for me any day of the week. But I am most likely to succumb to the urge on the weekends.


LOL...this scenario gets me everytime...I buy something (usually ice cream bars on sale)...but then can't pace myself...telling myself that the faster I eat them up, the sooner the temptation is gone.


I don't usually feel guilty because I know that one bad meal isn't going to set me back.


I also realize that if I let it get out of hand, it really will upset my progess.


But nothing beats taking a day off from the stress of coming up with healthy meals that also keep the calorie count down :)

    No specific day... when I crave I crave but I do notice that when I walk into the grocery store I start to crave things like Bananas ( I am only allowed 1/2 a small banana so I don't buy them often).. I don't seem to crave chocolates.. oh and I crave baked items

    2. Is there a certain time of day when this craving hits? When I am at home and I crave something it is usually while I am watching TV and the advertisements come on.. also notice that my cravings originate when I visually see something I would like

    3. Do you give in and indulge yourself? If it is chocolate I am craving well I will have Belgian Dark chocolate chips that I bought through Epicure.. I will have a small handful mixed with big plump raisins and a small handful of mixed nuts ( kind of a quick trail mix)

    4. Do you feel guilty afterwards, lol? And no I don't feel guilty until I read where someone overcame a craving and then I feel bad that I was so weak.
    5. What is your go-to cheat item...Is it always the same or do your cravings change? My cravings change from time to time.... I even will crave celery some nights.. I put peanut butter on sticks of celery OR some of the Laughing Cow light cheese.. So I don't think that is too bad... it is the nights that I give in and eat Pringles chips ( I found some whole grain Pringles with cheese.. mmmm so good)....

    It's the days when Al is off work.

    2. Is there a certain time of day when this craving hits?
    Not really, just tend to ease up on the rigidness of low cal healthy meals on the weekends.

    3. Do you give in and indulge yourself?
    LOL...sometimes, I've got willpower but it's not 100% effective.

    4. Do you feel guilty afterwards, lol?
    Not really, as I stated in my blog, I realize it's not going to set me back too much, just have to make sure that I don't slack off on my exercising too.

    5. What is your go-to cheat item...Is it always the same or do your cravings change?
    It's either chocolate or chips. Lately it's been ice cream bars because they've been on sale. Soon it will be home baked goods that we buy at yard sales.

    Yes I do

    No, it doesn't happen that often

    Chocolate, can be candy, ice cream, cake just as long as it's chocolate :)
